Job Description

Under the supervision of the Manager, Delivery the Order Desk Coordinator will be responsible for addressing all matters relating to quality assurance of order submissions. Responsibilities will include documentation, system implementation and order accuracy. Additionally, in this role you will be responsible for liaising with the Project Management team and Sales department to resolve any order issues.

Note: this is a contract role (1 year)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage order submission and work with internal teams to resolves any deficiencies
  • Develop responses and follow up on corrective actions from suppliers and customers.
  • Engage in problem solving as required using various tools and techniques
  • Utilize statistical techniques in problem solving.
  • Respond to any quality issues as the first line of defense and recommend technical solutions
  • Work with the team to maintain quality standards.
  • Assist with internal and external audit readiness.
  • Conduct process audits
  • Interpret design standards, processes, and procedures
  • Quality leadership resource, direct and support quality process implementation.
  • Encourage and implement continuous improvement in process.
  • Maintain, develop, and approve site quality documentation and records.
  • Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • College Diploma or higher.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs specifically Excel and Outlook.
  • Previous experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control an asset.
  • Experience using NetSuite considered an asset.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
  • Team player, with the ability to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner.
