Job Description

A global food distributor is seeking a Seafood Sales Account Manager to join their team in North York, ON area. This position is responsible for developing business, and suggesting strategies to management. At least 5+ years' experience of Frozen Seafood Industry is required. This position is full-time, direct hire position.

Seafood Sales Account Executive Duties:

  • Analyze sales trends and operating efficiency to maximize profits
  • Research and identify potential customers, as well as communicate with or visit current and potential distributors and customers
  • Represent the company and develop new business opportunities at trade shows, distributors, and industry events
  • Follow-up on past due accounts to make sure all collections are made
  • Provide price quotes, proposals, and credit terms to current and prospective customers
  • Identify and report all customer problems to the correct parties in a timely manner
  • Follow-up with all product sales leads and perform other marketing functions as necessary
  • Other administrative duties as necessary

Seafood Sales Account Executive Skills:

  • Associates degree in Business Administration related or relevant experience
  • 5+ years' related experience in Seafood distribution industry, especially sales and purchasing
  • Ability to apply simple algebra and calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commission, etc.
  • Strong connection or knowledge of purchasing seafoods
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Verbal and Written)
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • May require travel up to 25% nationwide and to US.
  • Valid driver's license with clear records
