Job Description:
Vendor manager for the legal department to provide support for assigned vendor relationships in accordance with applicable frameworks, policies and standards. Duties will include:
• Maintain vendor records in accordance with Legal Department and TD requirements
• Understand practices and procedures relating to managing vendor arrangements through all stages of the vendor lifecycle, in alignment with relevant frameworks, policies and standards
• Protect the interests of the organization - identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high-risk activities as necessary
• Contribute to vendor related operational activities (e.g. report production, system queries, process mapping, specialized tracking, analysis and transactional procedural support) as assigned
• Focus on continuous improvements to facilitate entering into vendor arrangements
• Participate in working sessions and/or facilitate meetings to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal TD partners and the vendor to ensure department requirements are met and objectives are aligned
• Support the onboarding of vendors and managing related documentation, including contracts
