And these are the main tasks of a Director of Sales on the team of Georges, Vice-President of Sales:
- Meet with customers and promote the features and quality of the company's transportation, logistic and warehousing services;
- Inform customers about related and specialized services;
- Establish operating procedures specific to customer needs and constraints;
- Promote the company's brand image by following up on customer requests and solving problems;
- Transmit all necessary information to underwriters to establish rates that are most representative of the service offered and the corresponding costs;
- Transmit all necessary information to operations managers so that they can provide the customer with the service we have sold them;
- Communicate with customers after the sale or signing of the agreement to ensure follow-up and resolve any problems;
- Identify and solicit potential customers;
- Promote to existing customers;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Do you have what it takes?
- Ten years' experience in sales, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Undergraduate degree (MBA an asset);
- Knowledge of transportation is a major asset.
- Good oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to prospect and sell;
- Bilingualism, spoken and written (French and English);
- Knowledge of CRM and Truckmate software an asset;
- Interpersonal skills, tact, diplomacy and politeness;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent sense of priorities;
- Ability to build trusting relationships with new customers;
- Have a good sense of priorities; Be able to build relationships of trust with new customers;
- Be a good prankster, just to make your colleagues laugh once in a while!
