Position Description:

The SAP Business Warehouse Consultant works closely with data analysts & team leads to build and deploy analytics solution utilizing the chosen technology. The developer is responsible for the extraction of data from source systems, transforming the data to be fit for purpose and loading that data model into the visualization layer. The role requires experience in the design, deployment, and management of large-scale data services.

Mandatory Education/Certifications:

• University Degree in Administration, computer science, system analysis or related study

Mandatory Experience: "SAP Analytics Solution Architect”

• Demonstrated experience developing and supporting in SAP Business Warehouse (version 7.5), extracting data from various SAP Modules (MM, FI, PS, Success Factors, CRM), modeling data and supporting reporting use cases into Business Objects (4.3), Power BI direct query, HANA DB to Microsoft Dataflows & directly into Azure ADLS containers for further data modeling.
• Additionally, the Solution architect will demonstrate experience creating and maintaining development standards across the SAP analytics platform, planning upgrade paths and matching future business capability requirements to product road maps.
• Product knowledge and feedback to BW & BOBj developers.
• Advise on project designs, integration design & data modeling.
• Ensure data models are re-usable and provide a access for developers and citizen developer use cases.

Desired Experience:

• Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Event Hub, Azure Synapse, Azure DevOps considered an asset.
• Deliverables: "Designs, automates, and manages the acquisition, transformation, and data loading processes in a high volume, high availability, data analytics environment.
• Manages data pipelines and code repos and investigates/resolves failures.
• Architects, designs, and implements state-of-the-art data analytics architecture.
• Provides production support to solve immediate problems.
• Analyzes information requirements of customers and support teams and determines the best technical solutions.
• Collaborates with business and technical partners to understand and evaluate their needs for data.
• Works closely with the Solution Architect to define/evolve the data storage architecture and data transformation architecture sections of the solution architecture.
• Mentors other staff in the delivery of services and problem resolution
• Develops unit test cases.
• Performs and reports on unit testing.
• Incorporates security requirements into the design.
• Develops functional and technical specification documents.
• Implements data storage procedures, and data retention policies.
• Data transformation architecture.
• Deliver solutions using agile sprint methodology.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings.
