About the Role - We are currently looking for a Business Development / Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with a passion for business development / sales and excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities
- Developing and scouring new accounts through networking, cold calling and lead generation.
- Client development and ongoing customer management through client site visits, relationship management and proactive sales activities.
- Sourcing candidates to meet client and role specifications.
- Screening, interviewing and qualifying candidates to determine best match. This can include phone interviews, personal interviews, reference checks and skill evaluation.
- Coaching and orientation of candidates and clients throughout the recruitment and selection process.
- Negotiating with both clients and candidates.
- Work within a team and independently.
- Build on existing database through cold calling, telemarketing, advertising, job boards and social media.
- Work with management to build sales strategies.
- Maintain sales activities through MTS' applicant tracking system.
- Develop and maintain MTS' awareness through advertising, public relations, business, professional and public associations, and social media.
- Assist management in the identification of future opportunities for continued growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of business-to-business sales experience ideally within business services.
- University Degree or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of successful sales.
- Strong time management and sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Recruitment experience within Engineering, Construction or Information Technology is an asset.
- Proficient with MS Office including MS Word and Excel.
- Able to Multitask and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to travel within the GTA.
