Social Media Coordinator job opening in Toronto, ON (paid social)
Adecco Professional is currently hiring for a temporary Social Media Coordinator job opening in Toronto, ON for our client in the media industry. In this 6 month temporary contract to start, you would be working closely with the team to help develop social media plan recommendations for their clients and activating the advertising campaigns on social media platforms; this includes meeting campaign goals and analysis. This position will have you working full-time hours in a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days in office/week. NOTE - this is not a content creation role.
Some of the responsibilities for the Social Media Coordinator job opening in Toronto, ON include but is not limited to:
- Assist the paid media team in executing and managing social media campaigns for our clients
- Responsible for campaign budget inputting in billing platforms
- Conduct ongoing data pulls and analysis on campaigns performance in order to determine needed optimizations.
- Managing monthly billing discrepancy reconciliations and invoice clearing.
- Assist with day-to-day communication with internal and external partners.
- Update industry newsletters on a monthly basis.
- Distribute notes recapping meetings, and agreed upon next steps.
- Updating blocking charts, investments summaries, and campaign performance when required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Some of the qualifications for the Social Media Coordinator job opening in Toronto, ON include but is not limited to:
· Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications
· At least 1 year of related experience to the details of the description above - Paid Media Coordination required
· Strong technical and computer skills including MS Office, with advanced working knowledge of Excel
· Facebook Blueprint and/or Certification or Twitter Flight School is a strong asset
· Knowledge of various social media platforms in both organic and paid use
· Strong math proficiency and data analysis skills
· Possesses superior organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines consistently and prioritize any new tasks as required
· Proactive and able to solve problems effectively and rapidly using excellent research and analytical skills.
· Exceptional communication skills; written, verbal and presentation
· Well-honed project management and planning skills.
