Marketing Content Specialist

Location: Downtown Toronto | Hybrid work model – 1–2 days in-office weekly (Wednesdays required)

Industry: Financial Services / Investment Management

Salary: $70,000–$95,000 + competitive benefits

Vacation: 3 weeks

About the Role

Our client, a leading firm in the investment management space, is looking for a Marketing Content Specialist to join their collaborative, high-performing marketing team. This role offers the opportunity to create impactful content, support sales enablement, and manage marketing initiatives in a fast-paced B2B environment. The team is known for its supportive culture, visible leadership, and strong focus on professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage content creation projects from concept to completion
  • Write and edit short-form content including infographics, PowerPoint decks, and one-pagers
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors (e.g., designers, translators, proofreaders)
  • Manage approval processes including compliance sign-off
  • Maintain and distribute marketing materials through Seismic
  • Provide support to the sales team via Zendesk ticketing system
  • Maintain website content and assist with quarterly fund commentary updates
  • Support marketing reporting, analytics, and campaign coordination
  • Assist in the execution of webcasts, advertising, and social media efforts
  • Perform quality assurance checks for grammar, branding, and formatting

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing role (agency and/or financial services experience is an asset)
  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, or Communications
  • Strong writing, editing, and project coordination skills
  • Familiarity with financial/investment concepts is preferred
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal and external partners
  • Technical skills: Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint), Seismic, Zendesk, Basecamp, Salesforce
  • Experience with WordPress and/or French language skills are considered assets
