The Opportunity:
The Environmental Services Associate will ensure that the physical condition of the building is maintained i while ensuring the safety of residents, employees and guests. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the general maintenance, servicing and repair operations to maintain the residence, equipment, furnishings, fixtures and the surrounding grounds in proper condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, implementing, and executing a daily, weekly, monthly and annual schedule of preventative maintenance activities.
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels for maintenance.
- Identifying and investigating residence deficiencies and equipment malfunctions and taking appropriate corrective action.
- Performing minor building, landscaping, electrical, painting, plumbing and equipment repairs to when required
- Meet with and organize key maintenance vendors onsite
- Conducts regular reviews of the entire building and reports findings to supervisor.
- Ensuring resident rooms/units are prepared for occupancy
- Performing winter related safety activities, including salting residence grounds, monitoring and preventing falling ice and snow, and ensuring grates and drains are fee of ice and debris to allow water melt to flow.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a maintenance worker.
- Demonstrated skills in light carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting and equipment maintenance.
- Certificate from a program in general maintenance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
