As the General Manager of Venue Operations, you will be leading diverse food and beverage teams across multiple outlets, ensuring top-notch service and profitability. At 1 Hotel Toronto, you will be responsible for the oversight and successful management of 1 Kitchen Restaurant, Flora Bar and Lounge, and In-Room Dining. You excel at developing and executing strategies to drive growth, optimize performance, and foster a positive work culture. With a keen focus on financial management, team development, and guest satisfaction, you ensure smooth operations while upholding high standards of food safety and service excellence. Your leadership inspires innovation, continuous improvement, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences aligned with the 1 Hotels Vision.

About you…

  • You are a dynamic leader with 3+ years of experience in food and beverage operations within luxury hospitality.
  • Experienced in managing restaurant, lobby-bar, in-room dining with a strong focus on financial performance, cost control, and profitability.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategies aligned with brand goals and market trends, ensuring continuous growth and innovation.
  • Strong team builder, skilled in recruiting, training, and motivating diverse teams to deliver high-quality service and foster a positive work culture.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and service, ensuring compliance with all company policies and local regulations.
  • Excellent communicator, providing guidance and feedback to team members while maintaining a productive and supportive work environment.
  • Experienced in overseeing scheduling, payroll, and operational management, ensuring efficient service and maximum profitability.
  • Focused on enhancing guest satisfaction by proactively addressing feedback, resolving issues, and driving service improvements.
  • A hands-on problem solver, adept at making thoughtful decisions and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about maintaining a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement, and delivering exceptional service in line with the 1 Hotels Vision.
  • You are flexible to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
