Be the Leader on the Front Lines of Restoration and Construction Excellence
At First Onsite, we specialize in bringing properties-and peace of mind-back to life after disaster strikes. We're growing and currently seeking a Construction Manager with strong experience in commercial construction, particularly in the healthcare marketplace. If you understand how to walk into a hospital and immediately assess infection control needs, you could be the perfect fit.
A Day in the Life of a Construction Manager
As a Construction Manager, you take charge of onsite construction operations, ensuring every project runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You are the go-to leader for everything from project kickoff to completion, with a deep understanding of preventative measure plans, containment protocols, and hoarding measures necessary in sensitive environments like hospitals and clinics.
As a Construction Manager, you supervise the total onsite construction efforts to ensure that each project is constructed in accordance with design, code, quality, budget, and schedule requirements. At the beginning of a project, you review the preliminary project budget, identify missing or inaccurate scope items, set up the budget, and ensure project costs are accurately accounted for.
Your great organizational skills allow you to manage or supervise multiple projects at one time. As the primary contact for client representatives, field personnel, material suppliers, inspectors, and subcontractors, you are the driving force behind producing desired project results. You are determined to make sure that building projects stay organized, under budget, and on schedule. You take great pride in your work and enjoy coming to work every day.
