- Support quality/workability concerns reported by customer
- Containment action for non-confirming parts with WH trial part inspection at CCSC1/HCM
- Support with minor model launch of 25M Civic
- Preparation support related to 27.5M major model CRV
- Assist warehouse and sorting/rework operations as needed. Oversee completion of sort standards for responsible products. Participate in rework meetings, complete ISO/IATF documentation as necessary for all QA related activities performed at warehouse.
- Assist warehouse operations for reported abnormal conditions such as damaged shipment, wet containers received, warehouse reported accidents to products. Working with SEWS QA Engineers, Logistics, 3PL and Delivery team to ensure no impact to customer shipment and quarantine confirmed defective parts to be dispositioned accordingly.
- Monitor and update sorting log working with QA lead hands for all warehouse activities. Summarize sorting log at month end to establish monthly cost summary and submit to accounting department to retrieve/balance SEWS Canada QA budget.
- Monitor and track suspect materials and certified material reported by plant side along with design changes implemented. Work with SEWS Canada QA/DE engineers and support delivery/logistics with container delays/design FIFO concerns reported to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Support SEWS Canada DE/QA engineers with project documentation completion and support to inspect prototype trial parts to ensure that quality and parts meet the drawing spec. Support PFS working with SEWS Canada QA/DE/LP members.
- Assist SEWS Canada QA department with invoices related to temp agency, UPS/FedEx invoices. Arrange QA related shipments for UPS/FedEx and other QA related administrative activities.
- Assist to ensure that Safety protocols in warehouse are followed within warehouse and ensuring temporary associates are also following all rules. Support to establish safety work standards and implementation of safety related items as required.
- Support to monitor customer quality/workability concerns reported working with QA Engineer and assist with feedback to manufacturing plants as required.
- Other duties as assigned to support CCSC1 requirements to support MBU and SEWS Canada business overall.
- High School Diploma or GED and Technical Certificate; 5-7 years of progressive engineering experience.
- 0-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a quality assurance capacity
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills in order to effectively interact with customer and other internal/external operations
- Skilled in the use of desktop applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Skilled in the area of task management and organization
