This involves complex research and analysis, strategic thinking, and strong problem solving skills as well as the ability to work cross-functionally across multiple departments and as part of a team.At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together. This position will require 2 days per week in our London, ON office subject to change with future business needsWhat you'll be doing:

• Complex research and analysis to support business initiatives, projects, and products
• Identify and implement ways to improve data quality and data integrity
• Derive, document, and communicate analytical business requirements
• Demonstrate your areas of expertise by identifying data norms and anomalies.
• Find and communicate data narratives that provide meaningful insight to the business.
• Work with internal stakeholders to extract maximum value from data.

What we're looking for:

• A minimum of 5+ years of direct experience performing data analytics.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in R, SQL, and advanced Excel skills required. (R and R studio skills a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, emphasizing clear requirements and analytical results.
• Proficient in drafting, reviewing, finalizing and driving projects.
• Skilled in developing, documenting and promoting technical standards within the team.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and support skills; you're a critical and strategic thinker.
• An appetite for continuous learning, confidence to challenge the status quo, and a technical aptitude to work with analytics and data.
• Experience in effectively communicating analysis and insight to all levels of the organization.
• Sense of ownership to independently manage time and efficiently address workload.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Promotes opportunities for automation and standardized processes.
