What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare materials for welding, including chemical etching
• Perform drill press operations (drilling, tapping, countersinking)
• Install bushings, bearings, rivets, and helicoils
• Set up and test assemblies using drawings and test procedures
• Operate brake press, punch press, drills, saws, and shears

What You Bring to the Table

• 5+ years of experience in industrial fabrication, fitting, or complex mechanical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders
• Hands-on experience assembling hydraulic and tube assemblies from schematics
• Skilled in operating forklifts, overhead cranes, slings, and industrial tools
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools: micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.
• Comfortable using electric and pneumatic tools, grinders, tapping machines, and saws
• Must have a verifiable 5-year work history in Canada
