POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the position performs a variety of duties within the fabrication plant. These major duties include but are not limited to, auto welding, inspection and providing support for shipping and receiving. The remaining points are inserted under the duties and responsibilities section.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of high school diploma.
- 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
- Accurate and detail oriented
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
- Health and Safety aware to minimize risk of injury from equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with employees, suppliers and customers.
- Ability to prioritize and organize.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
- Responsible for working in the auto-weld area; feeding material through roller bars, adjusting proper fittings, setting heat and speed functions accurately.
- Transports rolls of fabric from the floor to the cutting table using required lifting devices.
- Loads and unloads fabric on and off the cutting table using the required lifting system and cutting fabric as per specifications.
- Quality inspects filtration product against specifications, pack boxes, palletize and prepare for shipping.
