Position: HVAC Technicians Mobile Equipment (Fly-In/Fly-Out)
Location: Fort McMurray, AB
Schedule: 14 Days On / 14 Days Off | 12-Hour Shifts
Overview:
A leading industrial services provider is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians with experience in heavy-duty mobile equipment to join our growing field service team in Fort McMurray. This role features a compressed rotational schedule and offers company-paid travel and accommodations for fly-in/fly-out staff, or a monthly housing allowance for local candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mobile HVAC systems used in heavy-duty industrial and off-road equipment.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and conduct preventative maintenance according to OEM standards.
Manage service vehicle inventory and ensure timely repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
Support installation and servicing of vehicle fire suppression systems and portable fire equipment (training provided if needed).
Provide in-shop repair support as required.
Follow rigorous safety protocols and contribute to a proactive health and safety culture.
Participate in the development and improvement of job hazard analyses and safe work procedures.
Assist other branch locations on a rotational or as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience on mobile equipment in industrial or mining environments.
Valid Red Seal (Journeyman) certification in any of the following is strongly preferred:
Heavy Equipment Technician
Automotive Service Technician
Truck and Transport Technician
Refrigeration and A/C Mechanic (with mobile equipment focus)
Fire suppression service experience is an asset but not required (training available).
Must meet client site entry requirements, including pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing.

Work Environment Requirements:
