About the Role: This is a high-impact role with national scope and a primary focus on Western Canada, with potential growth into U.S. markets. The Sales Executive will play a key role in business development—leading efforts in sales prospecting, client relationship building, and project bidding. The ideal candidate is a consultative seller with strong technical aptitude, capable of guiding clients through concept development, estimation, and custom design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain new and existing B2B client relationships
- Generate and qualify sales leads aligned with strategic goals
- Prepare accurate project estimates and compelling sales proposals
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions
- Conduct site visits and pre-installation meetings with clients
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Estimating, and Production teams
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution
- Maintain client communications regarding updates to products, pricing, and timelines
- Provide superior customer service and post-sales support
- 5+ years of sales experience in the construction or building materials sector (aluminum railings and extrusions considered an asset)
- Proven ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated success in identifying customer needs and delivering tailored solutions
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a solutions-first mindset
- Willingness to adapt to flexible working hours as required (standard hours: Mon–Fri, 8AM–5PM EST)
