This role is responsible for leading the sales organization to achieve the company Canada's strategic business goals. The VP of Sales will oversee the sales team and network, ensuring effective territory management, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to all sales personnel, ensuring comprehensive representation of technologies across all territories.

  • Drive performance improvements across the sales network through clear KPIs and sales accountability programs.

  • Proactively identify and address performance issues within the sales team or network.

  • Recommend, implement, and optimize sales channels to support continued business growth.

  • Travel regularly to visit key customers alongside sales managers, partners, or affiliates to support strategic relationships.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with national and corporate accounts, influencing high-level decision-makers.

  • Participate in global sales meetings and initiatives, contributing to international sales strategy development.

  • Represent the company at major trade shows and industry events in North America and occasionally internationally.

  • Create and manage robust follow-up systems for high-priority sales projects and accounts.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to plan and execute sales training programs, customer events, and lead generation efforts.

  • Contribute to the company's annual business planning and budgeting processes.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years in sales in the mineral processing or related industrial sectors, including experience in a multi-regional leadership capacity.
  • Strong strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamic
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales initiatives
