About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead the on-site construction of concrete high-rise residential projects in Burnaby up to 50 stories. As a key leader on the project team, you will oversee all aspects of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and with the highest level of quality. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has extensive experience managing high-rise residential projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of high-rise residential construction, ensuring projects meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.

• Lead and coordinate site activities, managing subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.

• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a culture where safety is a top priority.

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to maintain workflow efficiency and resolve construction challenges.

• Conduct regular site inspections, enforce quality control, and ensure compliance with BC Building Codes.

• Maintain accurate daily reports, project schedules, and site documentation to track progress and manage timelines.

• Act as a mentor and leader, motivating and guiding site teams to ensure seamless project execution.

What You Bring:

• 20+ years of experience in multi-family residential construction, with at least 10 years as a superintendent leading high-rise projects.

• Proven expertise in concrete high-rise construction (20+ stories).

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors effectively.

• In-depth knowledge of BC Building Codes, safety regulations, and high-rise construction best practices.

• Ability to troubleshoot, think critically, and solve problems under pressure.

• Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
