The Director, Paid Media is the main client contact and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of their individual client group(s). In conjunction with the VP/EVP, they will actively participate in staff planning, performance and career management.
They are the key contact with senior client representatives on the business and is responsible for maintaining the client relationship and internal (senior) relationships, driving the business forward, generating revenue and assisting in new business development.
This includes overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and performance of paid media campaigns to ensure alignment with client goals and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Further foster your relationship with senior clients and deliver highest level of client servicing
  • Manage relationship with all key senior partner agency personnel and SBU partners
  • Identify areas for generating revenue opportunities
  • Creative and strategic involvement in all areas of clients' business, including development and integration of paid media strategies
  • Lead the Strategic Planning process and ensure that ChangeMakers principles have been applied in the media plan development process
  • Responsible for overall media process with cross functional teams and ensure deliverables are met on time and on budget
  • Ensure accurate preparation and timely delivery of reporting/analyses to client, including paid media performance metrics
  • Fiscal accountability to senior management in terms of client revenues
  • Participate in staff planning and succession planning
  • Oversee training and mentoring of team, including upskilling in paid media tools and best practices
  • Responsible for timely completion of all performance evaluations for group
  • Demonstrates solid expertise/knowledge of data analytics
  • Participate in agency initiatives (training, new business involvement, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of social media-specific experience at a brand or agency
  • Experience working in a fast-paced professional services environment dealing with executive level decision makers and critical business issues.
  • Experience collaborating with agency and creative teams in developing social media strategies for brands on platforms including LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter.
  • Experience with advocacy and B2B marketing and communications.

Salary Range for this role $100,000- $120,000 CAD.
