Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Paint Division Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our rapidly expanding powder coating and liquid painting operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient production workflows, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on leadership approach and a strong background in industrial paint operations.
Key Responsibilities
Production Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations across all paint lines, ensuring timely and quality output.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet or exceed specified standards, maintaining rigorous quality control protocols.
Resource Management: Coordinate staffing, equipment, and materials to meet production demands effectively.
Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a safe working environment.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to satisfy a wide range of customer needs, ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in operations management within an industrial manufacturing or coating environment.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of coating processes, including powder coating, wet painting, and pretreatment.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated aptitude for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is an asset.
