Hours:

Monday – Friday 8am -4:30pm

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

We are looking for a dynamic, dependable, hardworking individual to fill our Inside Sales/Shipping/Receiving position. To be considered for this opportunity, you will be a quick learner, team player, great problem solver, and customer-centric. If you're looking for a company that is going to challenge you with a wide variety of tasks then this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

· Respond to walk-in and electronic customer inquiries in a thorough, prompt and efficient manner.

· Enter quotes and orders in QuickBooks

· Manufacturer traffic signs using cut vinyl graphics

· Receive all incoming deliveries and verify the accuracy of the contents against the packing slip

· Safely load and unload trucks using a counterbalance forklift, both indoors and outdoors

· Participate in the daily packaging process

· Schedule shipments ensuring shipping deadlines are met

· Prepare labels, waybills, BOL

· Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or skids and booking pick-ups

· Ensure collection and delivery of shipments

· Shared janitorial duties

Qualifications and Skills:

· Knowledge of traffic control industry is an asset but not required

· Strong fluency in English (both written and oral) is essential

· Excellent customer service skills with a sense of urgency

· Ability to multi-task, handle competing priorities with a calm, controlled demeanor

· Self motivated with strong ability to work independently and cooperatively with others

· MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and QuickBooks software experience is an asset

· Some heavy lifting (e.g. pails of paint are 70lbs)

· Forklift operator certificate an asset but not required
