At Farmers Depot, were committed to supporting producers with the tools, products, and knowledge they need to succeed. We're growing and were looking for an energetic and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to help us expand our reach and support even more farms across Canada.

In this role, youll be at the front line of our customer engagement efforts identifying new prospects, connecting with existing customers, and introducing them to the benefits of our product offerings, especially the MS Schippers HyCare line. Your work will lay the foundation for strong customer relationships, ensuring farmers receive timely advice, technical support, and a consistently outstanding experience. Youll play a vital role in strengthening our national sales strategy and helping producers get the most out of their operations.

Working with us:

This is a full-time position, based at our Cambridge, ON office (455 Dobbie Drive), with standard hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. After completing training, you'll have the option to work remotely one day per week. Occasional travel within Ontario and across Canada, as well as international travel, may be required. Some flexibility in work hours may be necessary depending on customer or vendor needs.

What youll do:

Proactively generate new business opportunities through outbound calls and inbound lead follow-up.

Analyze sales data and customer behavior to make well-timed, value-driven sales calls.

Dedicate approximately 80% of your time to new customer outreach, and 20% to supporting existing customers.

Become a product expert on Schippers HyCare solutions, supporting both customers and internal teams with technical product knowledge.

Coordinate and schedule on-farm appointments for our field sales team.

Provide over-the-phone technical troubleshooting support for pumps and related equipment.

Maintain accurate records in our CRM system, ensuring customer information is current and organized.

Act as a second-tier support resource for customer service reps, helping resolve inquiries and concerns.

Handle and resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner.

Foster long-term customer relationships that reflect our values of respect, integrity, and collaboration.

Your background includes:

Post-secondary education in business, agriculture, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in inside sales and customer service, ideally in an agricultural or animal health setting.

Bilingual (English/French) preferred.

Passion for agriculture and a strong understanding of farming practices.

Proven success in outbound calling and sales target achievement.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written (French is a strong asset).

Ability to listen, ask meaningful questions, and understand customer needs.

Eagerness to learn and master technical product knowledge.

Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively.
