We currently have an opportunity for a Data Engineer, supporting a partner in Insurance sector. Client is expanding the team, and the successful resource will help with supporting team and taking on day to day responsibilities.

We currently have an opportunity for a Data Engineer, supporting a partner in Insurance sector. Client is expanding the team, and the successful resource will help with supporting team and taking on day to day responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient data pipelines and ETL processes
- Build and deploy data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows
- Implement data quality checks, observability, and error-handling mechanisms
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and architects to define technical solutions
- Work with distributed data systems (Spark, Databricks) and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- Write clean, modular, production-ready code in Python
- Ensure CI/CD practices, version control, and infrastructure-as-code where relevant
- Optimize performance of jobs, queries, and storage for large data volumes
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve pipeline reliability
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles in complex environments
- Proven skills in Python programming (clean code, packaging, testing)
- Strong experience with Spark and Databricks
- Experience building pipelines from scratch in production environments
- 1-2 years on Snowflake or/and Databricks management is highly recommended
- Experience with streaming pipelines (Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.)
- Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools
