Selkirk GM seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Assistant Service Manager to join our high-performing Service Department. This role plays a key part in supporting daily operations, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and keeping our service team running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Service Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of the department
Provide leadership support to Service Advisors and front-line staff
Coordinate workflow and ensure timely completion of repair orders
Support internal communications between service, parts, and sales departments
Monitor and manage service appointments and shop capacity
Help resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
Review and support warranty claim submissions and manufacturer processes
Assist with coaching and development of service advisors and front-line staff
Maintain strong customer satisfaction by ensuring service processes are followed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a dealership service department (leadership experience an asset)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment
Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
Experience with scheduling and coordinating technician workflow
Working knowledge of dealership software
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
