About our Studio

MakeLab brings 3D printers, laser cutters, robot arms, t-shirt printers and all sorts of creative tools to events, showing people how to be creative in new ways. We've produced over 1000 experiences around the world, partnering with agencies and brands like Samsung, Microsoft, Adidas, Adobe, Autodesk, and eBay.

We're opening a retail store location at STACKT Market in Toronto, where we'll prototype new event experiences by inviting the public to explore, create, and play. The store will feature a few curated rotating monthly experiences, as well as offer a wide range of online offerings via Etsy, Shopify, and more.

Job Description

See the stuff we do on our website? Help us do more of it. This is an entrepreneurial role that creates and executes marketing strategy to fill our pipeline. You'll report directly to our founder and creative director to:

  1. Create our marketing strategy. You'll make quarterly, monthly, and weekly plans, and execute.
  2. Channels and Content Creation. You'll identify the channels we should be marketing on, execute campaigns, coordinate and even create content.
  3. Evolve and Maintain our Website. You'll keep our website updated and effective.
  4. Improve our Pipeline. You will be measured on how much new business your marketing brings into the studio.

Requirements

General Requirements

  1. A proven record of excellence in Marketing or Sales. We need to see that you've done great work in marketing communication, sales, and design.
  2. Experience across a variety of platforms. Paid ads, SEO, website design/development, design software, social media.

Benefits

$30/hr + Vacation Pay, 24 hours per week
