POSITION SUMMARY
Our client, a major player in the Canadian transportation and infrastructure sector, is seeking a Manager, Revenue Diversification to drive commercial growth and innovation. In this role, you will identify and develop new revenue streams, optimize existing commercial operations, and lead initiatives that diversify and strengthen the organization's business portfolio. This is a high-impact, cross-functional position that combines strategic thinking, market analysis, and collaborative execution. The ideal candidate brings commercial acumen, strong communication skills, and a passion for business development in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement strategies that drive revenue diversification and sustainable growth.
  • Conduct market research to assess industry trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal teams and external partners to foster collaboration and identify growth avenues.
  • Lead due diligence efforts and develop business cases to support new initiatives, partnerships, and investment opportunities.
  • Support the negotiation and structuring of complex commercial deals, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Evaluate long-term commercial opportunities with a focus on innovation and strategic alignment.
  • Create and maintain a robust pipeline of business development prospects.
  • Contribute as a key member of a high-performing team, promoting a collaborative and results-oriented culture.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, strategic growth, sales, or marketing
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in people management, whether through direct reports or cross-functional leadership
  • Experience working in customer-centric and partner-driven environments
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to think strategically across business units
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including stakeholder and partner management
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multi-stakeholder, fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized, with strong project management and analytical skills
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and new business scenarios
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to obtain security clearance
