Manager of Stakeholder Engagement
STATUS: 4 days per week
SALARY: $70,200 for 4 days/week, prorated for partial years
BENEFITS: Health and Dental, Pension program
LOCATION: 2 days in our Newmarket Office and 2 days in York Region Community

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Manager of Stakeholder Engagement is responsible for activities related to stakeholder/donor/corporate engagement and relationship building, marketing and outreach, and fund development.
Community engagement is key to a successful annual campaign, so the position is required to maintain stewardship and solicitation of donors
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Donors and Foundations:
Collaborate with foundations and corporations to build and sustain meaningful partnerships
Solicit, cultivate, and steward individual and corporate donors
Planning and executing donor recognition and retention programs
Developing and executing peer-to-peer fundraising
Attend corporate and company events to promote the organization and bring partnerships forward
Fundraising:
Develop and Implement marketing and outreach strategies for fundraising initiatives
Lead and Implement key fundraisers with the support of outreach volunteers and community members
Social Media and Community Engagement
Managing and executing digital communications, campaigns and strategies to support revenue and communication objectives for the website, email, and social media
Enhance and grow current followings on social media and website visits
Identify and develop key marketing messages and communication materials
Participate in networking events in York Region
Plan for overall marketing and communication activities and tools, such as the website (www.wcyr.ca), email blasts, and social media, ensuring alignment and consistency of internal and external communications
Special Events:
Coordinate special events each year with the goals of increasing revenues and community engagement
Plan, execute, and evaluate all events
Creatively identify new opportunities for events and enhancements to current events
Participate in fundraising committee meetings
Liaise and provide support to 3rd party events
Attend special events across York Region to promote the organization and cultivate relationships
Qualifications and Skills
CFRE designation or commensurate experience
Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Public Relations, Marketing or Business Administration an asset
3-5 years of progressive experience in fundraising and donor/community engagement
Strong leadership and motivational skills with demonstrated people management skills
Superior interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships and work in a collaborative environment
Experience in fundraising, developing marketing and outreach materials
Experience in digital and social media engagement
Proficient in Microsoft office 365
A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records check
