Reporting to the Director of Parts, the Parts Manager will be responsible for the day to day operation of the TRP Store West Saint John including but not limited to:
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet customer needs and optimize inventory turns.
- Oversee shipping and receiving.
- Evaluate and recommend parts required based on customer information.
- Generate sales leads by calling and onsite visits
- Oversee and perform inventory cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Generate quotes and complete orders as per customer requests.
- Explain warranty coverage to customers and assist with warranty claims.
- Follow all policies and procedures as outlined by management and maintain a professional, safe, work place.
Qualifications that a candidate MUST possess in order to gain consideration for this position:
- Previous experience in the Medium / Heavy Duty truck, automotive industry.
- High degree of product and technical knowledge.
- A team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer.
- Self-starter and motivated to sell.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Available to work Saturday mornings on a shared rotation.
- Ability to use Microsoft programs and applications
