We are looking for an administrative assistant with who either holds or is willing to obtain a BC Life & A&S insurance license. You will be an assistant to a CFP Professional and assist with front of house duties including mail distribution, answering inbound calls, preparation of paperwork and client communication. A minimum of one year industry experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Managing correspondence from MGA and insurance carriers
- Creating and assigning tasks for the appropriate advisor and distributing paperwork
- Managing client intake email inbox
- Managing existing client email inbox
- Digital database input & maintenance
- Physical database input & maintenance
- Communicating with insurance carriers which includes follow-ups on active cases and general troubleshooting
- Communicating with the MGA which includes sourcing insurance quotes, tracking progress on applications, and subsequent transactions
- Prepping & shipping/sending correspondence for clients and documents to be sent to insurance carriers
- Preparing investment and insurance documents for advisors
- Communicating with clients in an administrative role
- Answering phone calls for Braun Financial Services
