Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue high-volume customer invoices based on purchase orders, delivery confirmations, and shipping documents
• Record and apply incoming payments (cheques, EFTs, wire transfers) accurately and promptly
• Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections
• Communicate with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners to resolve invoice discrepancies or payment issues
• Work closely with the shipping/logistics and sales departments to verify product delivery and billing accuracy
• Maintain up-to-date customer records, including credit limits and payment terms
• Reconcile AR sub-ledger with the general ledger and assist with month-end close procedures
• Prepare customer statements and assist with cash forecasting related to receivables

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably within the food manufacturing, distribution, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry
• Experience with high-volume invoicing and knowledge of the order-to-cash process
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills to manage internal stakeholders and external customer accounts
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Knowledge of inventory, logistics, or supply chain processes is an asset
• French language skills are considered a strong asset
