This is an early career sales role for someone who's eager to learn, build meaningful client relationships, and contribute to a company that values quality and sustainability. You'll work directly with customers (think phone, email, video chats, and the occasional in-person meeting), support outbound sales efforts, and be part of a tight-knit team that shares a passion for great products and great service.
Some of what you will do in this role includes:
- Connect with new and existing customers to understand their needs
- Suggest and sell products that fit those needs
- Maintain and grow a pipeline of sales leads
- Create product samples (yes, you'll get hands-on with the goods!)
- Help with order follow-ups, customer questions, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with other departments like logistics and production
- Support social media sales and marketing efforts
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts
- A confident communicator with solid negotiation skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Curious and self-motivated, with a team-first attitude
- Tech-savvy (especially in Excel and Microsoft Office)
- 2+ years of experience in sales (food, beverage, or related industries is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing is preferred
- Comfortable using data and reports to inform decisions
- Based in Canada, with authorization to work here
