We are currently seeking an Audience Development Coordinator for Newcom's Audience Development team. This is an entry level role best suited to a candidate interested in media operations, audience development, data and marketing. The Audience Development Coordinator will join an experienced, energetic, and passionate team of audience marketers, reporting to the Director, Audience Development. This role combines both strategic and hands-on responsibilities for brands that reach some of Canada's largest industries/professions: financial, insurance, dental, trucking, retail and more. The successful candidate will support in ensuring daily operations run smoothly while working with the team to support audience growth and retention. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Customer Service: Responding to inquiries and sustaining customer data including: * Responding professionally to customer requests * Changes to subscriber email, postal addresses and passwords * Modifying customer information (data entry and updates) * Manage complimentary mailing lists for all brands Administrative tasks: * Data entry * Support the audience development team with our customer data platform (generating audience counts, pulling audience data, monitoring campaigns, testing integrations, etc.) * Comprehensive reporting on campaigns and audiences * Handling single copy sales and ad-hoc shipments * Managing office copy inventory Qualifications: * Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and the Office Suite of products * Proactive, detail oriented * Excellent oral and written communication skills, with diplomacy and tact * Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities * Knowledge of both print and web publishing products * A willingness to learn and share ideas in collaboration with a team * Experience with design programs is a bonus (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Canva) * Experience with Google Analytics is a bonus * Experience with database management is a bonus * French language skills are an asset Newcom Media welcomes and encourages applications from people of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
