The Parts Technician contributes to the operational efficiency of the parts department and to positive CSI results by providing prompt and accurate information and assistance to customers.

Job Duties:
- Assist customers by phone or over the counter offering consistent and high-level service
- Process daily customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions
- Oversee and participate in the shipping, receiving, organizing, storing, and issuing of goods
- Ensure that shipments are prepared for delivery and delivered in a timely manner
- Sort and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods
- Provide necessary information to the Warranty Department to allow prompt filing of parts warranties
- Assist in the preparation and counting of physical inventory
- Process a variety of reports in written and electronic form (e.g. requisitions, paperwork, and reports) for disseminating information and/or materials to appropriate parties
- Aid technicians in determining parts required for repairs
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience as a parts technician is required
- Automotive import parts knowledge is a definite asset
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals
- Overtime as required
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. frequently and move up to 100 lbs. occasionally
