Headwater Equipment is now hiring, we are looking for an experienced welder to work out of our Coalhurst shop. This position will be working with one other millwright in our shop that handles the mounting of attachments onto new machines, lineboring, and other maintenance duties.

Pay Structure

• OT Paid after 8 hrs daily at 1.5 hourly rate
• Mon to Fri – 8 to 10 hrs - Day Shift
• Top notch safety program

Position Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Welder ticket licensed in Alberta
• Good understanding of hydraulic systems, pumps, air compressors, mobile equipment, overhead cranes, piping, welding practices, and all other plant related equipment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience focusing on mechanical equipment maintenance
• Experience working with and or around off road heavy construction equipment an asset
• Experience with line boring tools an asset
• Be able to handle items weighing 50 pounds. This includes lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning items.
• Demonstrate appropriate reading, clerical, and basic math skills, including the ability to understand written instructions, and perform routine calculations.
• Ability to work effectively and cohesively in a team environment.
• Must have a positive attitude, be willing to accept feedback.

Location:

• We are looking for welders to be based out of the Lethbridge area to work in our Coalhurst shop
• Our main shop is at 5-92041 River Ridge Road, Coalhurst AB (5 KM West of Lethbridge)
