About the Opportunity
Join a custom machine shop where precision and performance matter. We are looking for a dedicated External Cylindrical Grinder Set-up Operator to help us deliver high-quality, custom-machined components. If you take pride in your attention to detail and hands-on skills, this could be the perfect fit.
What You'll Do
Set up and operate grinding machines to perform repetitive machining operations
Work with cylinder grinders, universal grinders, boring machines, engine lathes, and more
Verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments
Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
Ensure safety and quality in a noisy machine shop environment
Who You Are
No formal education required – experience is an asset
Able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Comfortable with manual work, standing for long periods, and using your hands with precision
Equipped with your own steel-toed safety boots
Have good hand-eye coordination and a strong attention to detail
