MUST HAVE P.ENG DESIGNATION

As a Tank Engineer specializing in API 650 tanks, you'll be responsible for the design, construction, maintenance, and inspection of welded storage tanks, ensuring they meet industry standards and safety regulations.

Design and Engineering:

• Develop and review tank designs, ensuring compliance with API 650 standards and other relevant regulations.
• Perform structural calculations and analyses to ensure tank integrity.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications for tank construction.
• Evaluate and select materials for tank construction, considering factors like corrosion resistance and strength.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• P. ENG DESIGNATION
• Experience in the design, construction, maintenance, inspection of API 650 tanks.
• Strong knowledge of API 650, API 653, and other relevant standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of tank integrity management principles.
• Experience with tank repair and modification procedures.
• Familiarity with welding codes and procedures.
• Experience with risk-based inspection (RBI).
• Experience with tank inspection data management systems (IDMS).

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience with tank corrosion assessment and mitigation.
• Knowledge of cathodic protection systems.
• Experience with tank foundation design.
• Experience with tank thermal stress analysis.
• Experience with tank level alarm settings per API 2350.
