As the Human Resources Generalist, in collaboration with the HR Team you play an integral role to support the attraction, growth, development, retention and motivation for Nors employees. As the Human Resources Generalist, you provide administrative, process and systems support to the team to maximize the service delivery to internal customer groups. Preferred location of work is Vernon, B.C.

Experience and Knowledge. You are a highly skilled and talented HR Generalist with progressive experience in Recruiting, Selection, On/Off Boarding, Performance Management, Compensation (including benefits), Provincial & Federal Compliance, and Union Relationships. Experience with Success Factors will be an asset. You have worked hard to gain a Bachelors' degree in Human Resources, and a CPHR designation would be a great asset.

Computer Literate. You're going to need strong computer skills to be proficient with our software, and you'll need to be very comfortable with Microsoft products so that you can maintain and create meaningful, informative, and timely business reports.

Collaborative. You will be part of our international HR team as well as the Canadian executive team. You will leverage excellent problem solving skills and business acumen to collaborate and earn the trust and respect of company leaders and the workforce.

Organized. You have developed a personal system to organize and follow through on critical deadlines. These organizational skills will assist you with managing our apprentice program, compensation changes, probation periods and more.
