The Ticket Operations Representative assists in executing event ticket service delivery in venues managed by Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL). This position will greet guests, deliver on their ticketing needs, scan tickets, assist guests in resolving ticketing issues, report issues, and uphold venue policies in a friendly and professional manner. They must address multiple guest concerns in a professional yet sympathetic manner and have the foresight and knowledge to escalate concerns when and where necessary. This position will be required to be aware of many ticketing facets involving all of REAL's venues.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Provide Ticketing Computer System & Ticket Purchasing Experience by:

  • Accurately operating ticketing systems, scanners, printers, and other ticketing systems technologies to sell tickets for events held at REAL venues.
  • Assisting customers with purchasing decisions describing venue layouts and seating locations clearly and concisely.
  • Navigating multiple apps, including but not limited to Ticketmaster, Show pass and all other relevant ticketing apps on mobile devices.
  • Adhering to payment processing, voucher redemption and ticket scanning procedures.
  • Issuing ticket comps and ticket refunds as required and as authorized by Supervisor/Management.
  • Maximizing all sales opportunities during the transaction process through additional product offerings.

Conduct outstanding customer service by:

  • Remaining friendly and attentive to the needs of all guests and provide superior customer service to all internal and external clients.
  • Providing ticket service for inbound calls and emails.
  • Proactively addressing guests' ticket needs by answering questions, and giving directions.
  • Being visible and available to provide superior service for event attendees in various locations.
  • Keeping Box-Office, Box-Office lobbies, and entrance ticket scanning areas safe, clean, and tidy for best first impressions.

Support the Guest Experience and Ticketing team by: .

  • Assist in box office setup and closure.
  • Sell and issue tickets at box office and will-call window on event days.
  • Provide customer service and resolve all ticket related issues in a time efficient manner.

Other duties as required

Wage: $15.58 - $17.72

Education and Experience

  • Applicants must be at least 16 years of age to apply
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in guests/customer service in forward-facing industries is considered an asset.
  • Experience in ticketing programs is an asset.
  • Cashier experience is considered an asset
  • Multi-lingual considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Possess excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs throughout shift
  • Ability to contribute to a lively, fast-paced guest experience
  • Punctual, responsive to instructions, and open to feedback for improvement
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and solve problems
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
