Job Title: Insurance Learning and Development Specialist/Trainer

Job Description:
The Insurance Learning and Development Specialist/Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating effective training programs and initiatives that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and instructional design skills, as well as extensive knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Develop and deliver engaging and impactful training programs and materials that align with business objectives and employee development needs
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and assess training needs and develop relevant content
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods, such as e-learning, classroom-based instruction, on-the-job training, and blended learning, to ensure optimal learning outcomes
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and make continuous improvements as needed
- Manage the training administration process, including scheduling, logistics, materials preparation, and record keeping
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees in the application of learning and development concepts and skills
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development, and incorporate them into training design and delivery
What are we looking for?
- Insurance industry training experience preferred but open to other industry training
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, training and development, education, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in developing and delivering effective training programs and materials, preferably in a corporate setting
- Strong instructional design skills and expertise in a variety of training methodologies and delivery methods
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills to establish productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines
