Skills Required:

• Minimum experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter projects as Integration Developer
• Experience in Java/J2ee (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, JMS, JPA).
• Able to configure/Integrate the applications using XML and GOSU
• Experience in development of integration patterns with systems such as Document Generation, Billing, Payment systems and so on.
• Develop GOSU queries, create batch jobs within Guidewire
• Working knowledge of SOAP / REST APIs
• Strong Java server-side programming experience with a solid understanding of object-oriented concepts
• Experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies
• Understand the integration patterns from PolicyCenter
• Having knowledge of EdgeAPI would be added advantage
• Good understanding of XML, XSD, messaging, plugins
• Good understanding on Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System is a plus
• Has experience creating Web Services, Message Events, and integrating with Guidewire PolicyCenter
• Guidewire InsuranceSuite Integration Specialist certification preferred
• Guidewire Associate certified preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing and implementing integration story points between external applications/services and the Guidewire PolicyCenter
• Assist, Prepare/Enhance Estimates and Proof of concepts for integration user stories
• Partner with client business teams to understand business objectives and configuration/integration requirements
• Produce technical design documents for configuration/integration points
• Deliver assigned user stories, unit tests on time with expected code quality
• Resolve defects in the code and support system testing, code configuration and deployment activities.
