Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Outside Sales Representative. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for presenting AGL's glazing solutions to potential customers, building and maintaining relationships, providing excellent customer service, and developing new business opportunities. Daily tasks include sales presentations, customer consultations, and follow-up communications to ensure client satisfaction and business growth. This opportunity is perfect for someone that has some knowledge of glazing industry and has the ability to hunt down new business opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engage in extensive written and verbal communication, particularly concerning building structures.
  • Showcase technical proficiency, aiding in comprehending complex concepts.
  • Demonstrate effective time management to navigate varying workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word proficiently and excel in Excel.
  • Display basic design skills, including familiarity with AutoCAD software at an entry level.
  • Possess foundational knowledge of construction materials and building structures.
  • Maintain good working relationships with customers, suppliers, peers, and staff

Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years experience in sales (construction and glazing experience is an asset)
  • Ability to learn building code requirements for windows/doors
  • Have access to a vehicle with valid driver's license
  • Excellent customer service skills including proactive and quality communication
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Computer literate in typing and navigating the internet
  • Attention to detail and a desire to learn
  • Knowledge of reading architectural drawings considered an asset

Training will be provided.

Benefits:

  • Dental & Medical Coverage (70/30).
  • Opportunity for bonuses and sales commission, if applicable.
  • Competitive starting wage of $42,000.00 annually (Gross), plus commission.
