Job Title: Technical Integration Lead

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid-1 day - Toronto)

Type: Full-Time / Contract

Overall Job Purpose

The Technical Integration Lead is responsible for driving the deployment, implementation, and transition of infrastructure components within a large-scale project. This role works in close collaboration with cross-functional technical teams and key business stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient migration to a new platform, with a strong focus on agile and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Planning

  • Lead the implementation of GoAnywhere MFT, coordinating closely with infrastructure and security teams.
  • Act as the central facilitator to align and coordinate efforts across all technology teams.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and dependencies across Infrastructure, Application Support, Security, and Client-Facing teams.
  • Ensure clear task ownership, define requirements, and eliminate solution gaps across technical domains.
  • Translate business needs into executable technical requirements and support seamless delivery.
  • Advocate for and ensure the use of automation, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code best practices (e.g., New Relic, Ansible, Terraform, shell scripting).
  • Lead technical solution discussions and resolve conflicting requirements based on priority and impact.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks and deployment guides.
  • Oversee test strategy development, test case execution, and quality assurance in alignment with delivery timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to DevSecOps principles and security compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as Scrum Master for agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives).
  • Manage project tracking tools like JIRA and Kanban boards.
  • Ensure alignment and integration with parallel workstreams and other team leads.

Operational Management

  • Monitor performance and stress test outcomes to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Validate production readiness with complete and accurate runbooks.
  • Collaborate with operations teams for issue resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and technical leadership to project team members.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in IT with at least 1–2 years in a technical leadership role using agile methodologies.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems architecture.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and database technologies.
  • Experience with source control tools (Git, Maven, Nexus).
  • Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, CRI-O).
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale projects involving multiple technology teams.
