Your Role Includes

· Reviewing and stamping mechanical projects of all complexities and sizes

· Directing design strategies and concepts on complex projects

· Leading audits, feasibility assessments, and investigations, and writing corresponding reports

· Conducting site visits and troubleshooting construction issues; collaborating on solutions

· Mentoring intermediate and junior-level engineers and designers

· Supporting the continuous development of mechanical design standards and practices

What You will Bring to the Team

· Design experience with central plant systems, including hot water, steam, and chilled water systems

· Significant exposure to DDC control systems, including writing sequences of operations, specifications, and troubleshooting on-site control issues

· Extensive knowledge of codes and standards, including OBC, ASHRAE, CSA, and ASPE standards

· Design experience across multiple industries, including commercial, industrial, educational, multi-unit residential, healthcare, and government

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to organize, multitask, and work well under deadlines

· A collaborative mindset and a willingness to share ideas with a track record of sound judgment and decision-making

· Professional engineering license in Ontario with at least 5 years of Canadian experience.
