Skills and Responsibilities:

•Solid information technology engineering and architecture experience in high-volume, scalable, complex, customer-oriented IT environment, especially in the Pharmacy and / Retail Sector. Strong technical background (i.e. ability to read/write code), proficient in Java.

•Proven successful experience of transforming monolith applications to Microservices. Good knowledge of API & Microservices technologies and containers. (i.e. Spring Boot, Kafka, Istio, Mesh, Envoy, Docker, Kubernetes etc.)

•Experience designing and implementing cloud-based applications in main public cloud offerings (Microsoft Azure or AWS or Google Cloud).

•Good Knowledge of operational and application monitoring techniques using Elastic Search-Kibana-Logstash, Dynatrace, Datadog, New Relic etc.

•Excellent knowledge of different types of network topologies and security with proven integration experience on scalable complex systems across geolocations or clouds infrastructure.

•Knowledge of basic Agile terminology and practices such as User Stories, Backlog, Scrum, and Acceptance Criteria.

•Worked with Atlassian products in an Agile delivery team.

•Knowledge of at least one of BPM workflow tools like Activiti, Pega, j BPM, Camunda, Flowable etc.

•Knowledge of at least one of API management platforms from CA, Apigee, MuleSoft and IBM, WSO2 etc.

•Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, Git etc.

•Knowledge of IT risk management principles and best practices.

•Prior experience as an API or backend developer.8. Experience designing and implementing mobile applications and services.

•Drive and design architectural technical solutions and strategies for refactoring and de-compositing legacy systems.

•Assess and analyze business strategy & requirements, the current technical environment, and technology options to evaluate solution alternatives that meet business needs.

•Present and leverage technical information and solutions in a way that establishes rapport persuade stakeholders and achieves understanding and consensus at all levels.

•Participating in design discussions focused on scalability and design and implementation of API & Microservices best practices.

•Participating in planning, retrospective sessions and leading stand-ups.
