The Opportunity
We are seeking two highly motivated Digital Marketing Specialists to join our Delegate and Sponsorship teams at our Toronto office. In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping the overall marketing strategy for event success and amplifying IndustryNow's influence in the industry.
Initially, this role will focus on establishing and managing an inbound lead strategy to boost awareness of our events, and will evolve to include elevating overall brand visibility. Our long term vision is to grow a dedicated Marketing department that compliments the strategy and growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Data Organization: Manage and analyze both inbound and outbound data
- Time Management: Effectively prioritize tasks to meet tight campaign and event deadlines
- Content Creation: Build brand awareness and highlight event offerings through engaging LinkedIn content and lead generation campaigns
- Effective Copywriting: Draft captivating emails, landing pages, and social posts that drive engagement and registrations
- Lead Generation & Expansion: Develop strategies to continuously grow the lead database and re-engage past attendees and sponsors
- Engagement via Omni-Channel Marketing: Implement coordinated marketing efforts across email, social media, and digital ads to drive attendance
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in a marketing-related role
- Self-Motivation: A self-motivated and results-driven approach is key to thriving in this role. You should be proactive in seeking out new opportunities and driven to achieve and exceed targets.
- Communication: Ability to clearly and professionally exchange information with clients, suppliers, and event staff, both in writing and verbally
- Research and Analytics: Ability to conduct thorough research and stay informed about industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Organizational Skills: Effectively manage multiple tasks, pay attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines
