Capgemini Canada is seeking a Utilities Data Solutions Leader to oversee the design, development, and deployment of innovative AI driven data solutions for the Utilities sector. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the vital link between business needs and technological innovation, leveraging diverse emerging solutions to deliver practical, value driven outcomes for clients in the Utilities sector.

To be successful in this role, the Utilities Data Solutions Leader should have a strong understanding of the convergence of OT and IT, including knowledge of multiple vendors' AMI and Meter Data Management (MDM) solutions, as well as a strong grasp of current and emerging technologies in the Smart Grid market. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to integrate Smart Grid data with enterprise IT data.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Solutioning Leadership:

• Serve as Data solutioning leader on AMI & Smart Grid engagements and transformation initiatives, overseeing solution design and architecture.

• Set best practices and ensure adherence to Capgemini's high standards of delivery excellence for all AMI/Smart Grid Data related projects.

• Drive innovation in the use of AI technologies to solve client challenges, focusing on emerging trends across Gen AI, Agentic AI, and to drive enterprise value for AMI & MDM initiatives.

Go-To-Market:

• Partner with business development & sales teams to create tailored Utilities data solutions that address the complex needs of the Transmission & Distribution sectors.

• Define and execute the Utilities Data Go to Market Strategy, ensuring alignment with global corporate objectives and business goals.

Strategy & Thought Leadership:

• Inspire and educate both clients and internal teams about the latest trends and innovations in Utilities data technologies, positioning Capgemini as a leader in the market.

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with Technology Partners and key stakeholders to ensure Capgemini remains a leader.

Trusted Client Advisor:

• Build and nurture trusted relationships with key enterprise clients, serving as a strategic advisor and partner in their Grid Modernization journey.

• Help clients unlock the full potential of AI investments, offering insights and strategies that lead to success.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science , or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience building solutions and products on cloud computing infrastructure (Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • 5+ of years of experience building AMI, Meter Data Manager or Smart Grid data solutions
  • 7+ years in OT Engineering or OT Data Science
  • 5+ years of experience in the Utilities Sector
  • Proven record of accomplishment of delivering OT Data solutions
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
