Senior Business IT Analyst – Onsite | Regina, Saskatchewan | 2-Year Contract with 2-Year Extension
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business IT Analyst to support a key public sector client in Regina, Saskatchewan. This is a full-time, onsite position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a transformative project focused on modernizing heritage protection systems.
Position Details:
- Contract Duration: Initial 2 years, with potential for an additional 2 years
- Location: Regina, Saskatchewan (onsite only)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, morning shifts
- Hours: 37.5 hours/week
- Hourly Rate: $90 – $110 (market competitive)
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams, subject matter experts, and vendors to analyze and document business processes, workflows, and requirements.
- Lead efforts in eliciting, managing, and communicating functional and non-functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop detailed use cases, business rules, and process models (As-Is and To-Be).
- Conduct feasibility studies, business cases, and technical assessments to support decision-making.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet organizational needs.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather insights and drive project alignment.
- Lead testing activities, including developing test scripts and guiding User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support organizational change management by preparing teams and developing training materials.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within IT projects, preferably in public sector or government environments.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
- Experience with process modeling, requirements management, and testing coordination.
- Ability to work on-site in Regina, Saskatchewan.
