Position Summary

The selected candidate will play a strategic role by supporting their client's key functions. They will act as a key partner to business teams, providing data, budgets, and analyses needed to support informed decision-making.

Your Mission

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead annual budgets, long-term plans, and rolling forecasts
  • Develop financial models for scenario planning and business analysis
  • Provide performance analyses and strategic recommendations
  • Prepare executive reports with key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Support business units in their strategic and operational decision-making

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a team of analysts with clear objectives
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables and promote continuous improvement
  • Plan resource allocation and conduct performance evaluations

Partnership & Continuous Improvement

  • Advise functional leaders in their financial decision-making
  • Optimize forecasting, planning, and reporting processes
  • Promote the adoption of automated tools and solutions to improve efficiency

Profile Sought

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (CPA designation is an asset)
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar role
  • Team management experience is an asset
  • Strong skills in financial modeling and analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for non-financial stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic mindset, strong attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Willingness to travel to Montreal on a quarterly basis, depending on business needs
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (strong asset), SAP S/4HANA, BW, Tableau, Power BI (asset), and Microsoft 365, with advanced Excel proficiency
  • French is considered an asset, as the successful candidate will be working with several French-speaking colleagues.
