We have an awesome opportunity for a Melt Deck Leader with our client in Paris. This is a growing organization that has just completed a massive expansion with more to come in the near future.
We are on the hunt for a talented Melt Deck Leader that can provide consistent and accurate product throughout their day to help support the production team in their work. This is a great role for someone with melting experience that is looking to move into a leadership role.
In this role you will be doing the following work:
- Adding raw material to the furnace to ensure a smooth and consistent melt
- Safely operating the furnace
- Slagging
- Tapping the furnace with the poorer for safe transfer of metal
- Gathering and sorting remelts
- taking temps using the pyometers
- Rebuilding and relining furnaces and ladles
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a foundry setting and environment
- Previous experience working with molten steel
- Reliability and Dependability
- Training will be provided
